Yvie had her first checkup at the doctor on Thursday. She did great. No shots yet, she'll start immunizations at her 2 month checkup. It's hard to believe she is 6 weeks old already! She now weighs 11lbs and is 22 inches long. She gained a pound and a half and an inch and a half. She can hold her head up for almost a minute and is really strong all over in general. She's also started vocalizing more. I have some new pictures and some video that I'll upload soon. We ran out of camera batteries so I wasn't able to upload them yet, but we got a charger and rechargeable batteries so we won't have this problem again. The following pictures are from her first week home.

Ready to go on her first stroller ride outside. She enjoys the stroller. We take it to ultimate frisbee games and she just hangs out and sleeps.


Ladies wear gloves. Someone joked she needs a little string of pearls to go with them. We tried these mittens out when she still had long nails and I hadn't a chance to cut them yet. She was constantly scratching her face. She's really good about getting her manis and pedis now. No more dragonlet claws.
